Balboa Soccer Group brings San Diego together through the beautiful game — inspiring the youth, keeping the community active, and hosting events across the year. Our biggest one yet kicks off this summer: the 2026 Annual Soccer Tournament, ten days of football, one citywide championship — final on the 4th of July.
Balboa Soccer Group started in 2010 with a simple idea: use soccer to bring our community together. What began as weekend pickup games at Balboa Park has grown into a year-round program of events — draft nights, charity matches, youth sessions, and one of San Diego's most anticipated summer tournaments. We play for connection, for health, and for the next generation.
Soccer is the reason we show up — community is the reason we stay. Weekly matches, family gatherings, year-round events.
Kids grow up watching older brothers, cousins, and neighbors play. We create space for them to step onto the pitch too.
Movement, fitness, friendship. Whether you're playing or cheering from the sideline — you're part of it.
A round-robin group stage across ten days, two matches daily at 3:30 & 5:30 PM. Top four advance to semifinals on July 3 — the championship final is played on Independence Day.
Kickoff 3:30 PM · Venue TBA. The grand finale of ten days of football, served up on Independence Day.
